Why do I have to I have to become a client to gain access?
Simply put . . . Real Estate Boards do not allow the public to access the MLS system directly.
This is why sites such as www.mls.ca give you limited access but do not include vital information such as addresses, days on market, etc. They also don't provide for specialty searches such as new listings, foreclosures, estate sales, and assumable mortgage homes.
When you become a client of a real estate agent, they become your "Buyer Agent" and then they are obligated to provide you with all the information you need to find the right home. They can provide this service on-line at your convenience as this site is updated many times a day.
